Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS' action figure brand "S.H.Figuarts" has officially unveiled sales information for a new product based on the popular anime "Naruto Shippuden" — the "Tsunade -The Legendary Medical Ninja Who Mastered the Byakugo-" action figure! The suggested retail price is 9,900 JPY, with an estimated release in April 2025!
The Fifth Hokage, Tsunade, is the granddaughter of the First Hokage Hashirama Senju, a disciple of the Third Hokage, and one of the Legendary Sannin. She is also the strongest medical ninja in the shinobi world. At the request of Naruto and Jiraiya, she took on the Hokage position after the Third Hokage's plan to destroy Konoha, and after the Fourth Great Ninja War, she passed the Hokage title to the Sixth Hokage, Kakashi. Four days ago, TAMASHII NATIONS revealed a promotional image composed of skin-tone and purple blocks on their official Instagram account, teasing Tsunade's appearance. This highly simplified image sparked considerable discussion among fans!
This "Tsunade -The Legendary Medical Ninja Who Mastered the Byakugo-" action figure stands approximately 14 cm tall, crafted in Tsunade's classic haori-clad appearance. The sculpting faithfully recreates her impressive physique, with articulation joints cleverly integrated beneath the flowing haori. The lower hem of her clothing is made from soft plastic, minimizing any impact on poseability. Accessories include three sets of hands, four interchangeable face plates, and the necklace inherited from her grandfather, the First Hokage. This includes hand parts for performing Creation Rebirth and a face plate with the forehead mark, allowing you to recreate her appearance when performing the Byakugo no Jutsu!
Also included is an interchangeable happy smiling face plate for young Naruto, which can be displayed alongside the previously released "Naruto Uzumaki -The No.1 Hyperactive, Knucklehead Ninja-"!
