From the Hong Kong model brand FLAME TOYS, the "Furai Model" series introduces a new product based on "Transformers: Beast Wars" – the "Beast Megatron" assembly model. The suggested retail price is US$85, and it is expected to be released in March 2025!
Airing in 1996, "Transformers: Beast Wars" was a TV animated series produced to support the eponymous toy line, a collaboration between Hasbro's Kenner subsidiary and Japan's TAKARA Company. It utilized then-novel full 3D computer animation, telling the story of the "Maximals" and "Predacons" clashing on Earth.
This Furai Model Beast Megatron can be assembled from approximately 230 parts, reaching a completed height of about 17 cm. It recreates the ferocious form of Megatron's descendant, "Beast Megatron," after scanning and integrating the biological genes of a Tyrannosaurus Rex in the show. The bio-mechanical fusion armor on its body is faithfully reproduced with purple and black injection-molded colors. While it does not feature a transformation design, its approximately 50 points of articulation throughout the body, combined with accessories like the dragon head, sharp claws, and beam cannon, allow for perfect posing to recreate his domineering presence as the Predacon leader in the series!
