The American collectible brand Numskull Designs, known for its "TUBBZ" toy series that transforms characters from major movies, anime, and video games into rubber ducks, yesterday (15th) unveiled a heavyweight product: "Godzilla (Giant XL Edition)"! It is scheduled for release in November 2024, with a suggested retail price of £79.99.
This rubber duck, transformed into the King of the Monsters, is currently the largest TUBBZ toy, standing at 9.7 inches (approximately 24.6 cm) tall. Based on the classic 1954 film "Godzilla (ゴジラ)", it features a fierce expression and is depicted biting a train. The overall presentation is similar to the previously released XL-sized Bruce the Great White Shark. The rough texture of Godzilla's skin is meticulously sculpted on its outer layer, and the dorsal fins and sharp claws on both hands are faithfully reproduced. Furthermore, Godzilla's thick tail is cleverly integrated with the rubber duck's tail, resulting in a truly substantial toy.
▼ The claw mark design on the front of the packaging truly adds to its impact.
▼ The product's promotional video is also quite adorable.
