KOTOBUKIYA, the Japanese model manufacturer, has announced today that the latest sixth character in their 'ARCANADEA' beautiful girl plastic model series, which blends fantasy and sci-fi elements, "Charmede", is scheduled for release in April 2025.
Designed by Japanese illustrator necömi, the fire-attribute angel-type Dears character Charmede (シャルメド) is one of the Seven Holy Swords, adept at wielding the 'Tyrant Dragon Armor: Strike,' a weapon that seals the power of the Dragon King in her right hand. While possessing a bold personality that shows no mercy to enemies, she also has a gentle side, enjoying taking care of others. Though her demeanor may seem carefree, she secretly adores cute things, to the point where her tail involuntarily reacts, causing her to desperately try to hide it.
The "Arcanadea Charmede" kit utilizes multi-color molding, pre-painted parts, and decals to faithfully recreate necömi's design, featuring a dynamic and alluring asymmetrical costume. It also inherits the 'Arcanadea' series' precisely engineered articulated body, with the skirt and tail both featuring multiple articulation points, allowing for both elegant posing and an astonishing range of motion.
Accessories include 4 pre-printed face parts and 5 pairs of PVC interchangeable hand parts. Furthermore, users can create their own expressions using the included water-slide decals. By equipping her right-hand weapon 'Tyrant Dragon Armor: Strike,' flame-like wings and skirt, and various flame effect parts, Charmede can transform into her battle mode. Combined with the highly flexible articulation of the base body and the movable axes of each piece of equipment, dynamic and powerful combat poses can be achieved!
