The American toy manufacturer McFarlane Toys' "DC Direct" "DC Cover Girls" product line recently officially unveiled its latest creation, the "Supergirl by J. Scott Campbell" 1/8 scale full body statue! It is scheduled to begin shipping in May 2025, with a suggested retail price of US$149.99.

Supergirl is Superman's cousin, originally named "Kara Zor-El." Although she was sent from Krypton at almost the same time as Superman, her pod was knocked off course and fell into the Phantom Zone due to the immense impact of Krypton's explosion, causing her to arrive on Earth decades later. Because she was in the Phantom Zone, Kara's body barely aged, and she maintained her teenage appearance upon arriving on Earth. She later dedicated herself to protecting "National City," where she resides.

This piece stands approximately 24 cm tall and is crafted from resin, bringing to life the Supergirl with the strong personal style of renowned illustrator J. Scott Campbell. Unlike the familiar classic red and blue bodysuit, this Supergirl is dressed in athletic-style attire, with her long golden hair tied into a super-chic ponytail! The combination of a form-fitting long-sleeved top, red and yellow athletic shorts, white long socks, and sneakers truly exudes the youthful vibe of a high school girl! The sculpting also excellently captures the folds of her clothing, the dynamic flow of her cape, and the rosy flush on her knees.
