Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd. Shokugan Division, BANDAI CANDY, which offers "EVA-FRAME" figures themed after "Evangelion New Theatrical Edition" and incorporating articulated designs, is launching the first installment of its newly upgraded "EVA-FRAME-DX" sub-series, "EVA-FRAME-DX: Evangelion New Theatrical Edition". This release celebrates the 30th anniversary of the anime "Neon Genesis Evangelion" in 2025. Available in three types, each is priced at a suggested retail price of 2,310 JPY and is scheduled for release in April 2025!
"EVA-FRAME-DX: Evangelion New Theatrical Edition" features the same three units as "EVA-FRAME01": "Unit-01", "Unit-02", and "Unit-00 (Kai)". The molded colors feature a sparkling metallic finish, giving the restraints a shimmering, fine-powder-like luster. Additionally, the packaging includes not only the armor and super articulated frame but also interchangeable parts and weapon accessories!
●EVA-FRAME-DX: Evangelion New Theatrical Edition Unit-01 Metallic Color ver.
The restraints feature new metallic purple and striking fluorescent green color schemes. It comes with basic armaments such as the Progressive Knife, Electromagnetic Rifle, Bazooka, and Gatling Gun, as well as interchangeable hand parts for holding weapons, allowing you to enjoy dynamic poses as it launches attacks!
●EVA-FRAME-DX: Evangelion New Theatrical Edition Unit-02 Metallic Color ver.
In addition to the shimmering luster of the restraints, improvements have also been made to areas such as the black armor on the arms and the metallic gray of the hands. It includes the S-Type Equipment for descent from "Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance", the Electromagnetic Crossbow, and the Progressive Knife.
●EVA-FRAME-DX: Evangelion New Theatrical Edition Unit-00 (Kai) Metallic Color ver.
For the gray parts on the arms and legs, a silver tone that further emphasizes the metallic feel has been adopted, elevating the overall texture! Included accessories feature a military green transport stand, the Spear of Longinus, and the Umbilical Cable.
