Japanese brand Gecco, known for producing exquisite 1/6 scale statues based on popular video games, released six color variations of the "Robbie the Rabbit & Stretcher" in 2020, based on KONAMI's thrilling video game masterpiece "Silent Hill 3 (サイレントヒル3)". Now, these palm-sized, blood-mouthed, ever-smiling "Robbie the Rabbit" figures are making a comeback! New colors and new versions are scheduled for release in May 2025, with a total of four styles to collect. The suggested retail price is 3,980 JPY (tax included) per figure.
In the "Silent Hill" series, "Robbie the Rabbit (ロビー・ザ・ラビット)", despite its cute plush toy appearance, is always covered in blood and has consistently been a highly popular character. Even toy collectors who haven't played the game may have encountered this bizarre rabbit. In the game's lore, Robbie the Rabbit is the mascot of Lakeside Amusement Park, but whether there's anyone inside remains a mystery that no one has ever been able to definitively answer...
Gecco has previously created numerous large statues featuring Robbie the Rabbit. The Mini Robbie the Rabbit, first introduced in 2020, boasts a palm-sized dimension of 9.5 cm. It not only meticulously recreates its adorable appearance, the bloodstains around its mouth and on its clothing, and the texture of a plush toy, but also endows these bizarre rabbits with simple yet enjoyable articulation. Furthermore, the ability to attach weapons to their hands and interchange accessories when owning multiple figures adds to their diverse playability. This time, black and red are new colors not seen before, while pink and light blue are new (neo) versions with swapped weapon accessories.
