Last week, Disney announced via international media outlets that it would produce a solo film centered on "Prince Charming." While details on whether the project will be animated or live-action remain under wraps, recent reports indicate a familiar name to Disney fans is being eyed for the titular role in this "Prince Charming" movie.
According to The InSneider, Chris Hemsworth, widely recognized as Marvel's Thor, is currently Disney's preferred choice for the "Prince Charming" lead. While he's already a familiar "Prince of Asgard" to Marvel audiences, Hemsworth also previously starred as Eric the Huntsman in Universal Pictures' fairy tale reimagining, "Snow White and the Huntsman." This prior experience in a classic tale adaptation could be a key factor in Disney's interest.

Plot details for the "Prince Charming" film are currently under wraps. However, it has been confirmed that Paul King, known for directing the "Paddington" series and "Wonka," will helm the project. King's frequent writing partners, Simon Farnaby and Jon Croker, are also attached to write the screenplay.
