Hong Kong toy brand threezero's "DLX" series, known for producing high-quality mecha articulated figures, is launching a new product based on "Transformers: Age of Extinction" – the "Lockdown" articulated figure. It will be available in a Standard Edition and a Special Edition (sold during Tmall's Double 11 event). The suggested retail prices are USD 239.9 and USD 249.9 respectively, with an estimated release in Q2 2025!
Lockdown first appeared in the 2008 animated series "Transformers Animated," where he was a mercenary bounty hunter. In Michael Bay's "Transformers: Age of Extinction," he collaborates with the Cemetery Wind unit, which hunts down Transformers regardless of faction. His alt mode is a Lamborghini Aventador.
This DLX Lockdown figure stands approximately 24 cm tall. The body features a die-cast metal frame design with approximately 60 points of articulation throughout. While it does not transform, it maintains excellent poseability while boasting a high-quality feel! The sculpting faithfully recreates his wild yet intricate mechanical structure from the film, and weathered paintwork presents battle-hardened aesthetic details. The eyes feature an LED light-up function. Accessories include a clear face mask, Spark Extractor, hook, arm blade, long sword, and a replaceable head cannon part with an LED light-up function, allowing you to recreate Lockdown's incredibly fierce attack pose from his appearance in the film!
The Special Edition will additionally include a thermal imaging night vision scope and an energy core accessory that can be equipped onto the Spark Extractor, offering more diverse display options!
