The popular action figure series 'S.H.Figuarts' from TAMASHII NATIONS, the collectors' toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., has finally officially announced the product that previously generated buzz among Dragon Ball fans with its early reveal of the 'V Jump' lottery information: "S.H.Figuarts Son Goku & Dragon -40th Anniversary Edition-"! The suggested retail price is 11,000 JPY, and it is scheduled for limited release in July-August 2025!
To commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Dragon Ball series, the "S.H.Figuarts Son Goku & Dragon -40th Anniversary Edition-" is being specially released. Crafted by a luxurious lineup including sculptor Hiroyuki Nakazawa, STUDIO-REN- (winner of the Tenkaichi Zoukei Festival), and Yusuke Watanabe (screenwriter for the 'Dragon Ball Z' animated films), in collaboration with Serow (セロウ), the action figure designer for "S.H.Figuarts Dragon Ball," this piece creates a young Goku and dragon base that combines both exquisite sculpting and articulation!
Faithfully recreating the classic manga cover illustration drawn by Akira Toriyama-sensei, young Goku stands approximately 75mm tall, capturing his cute and nostalgic appearance. It comes with a rich array of interchangeable face parts, including the smiling face, grinning face, pursed-lip face for Kamehameha, and the classic O-mouth surprised face from the illustration. Also included are various interchangeable hand gestures such as bowing, V-sign, clenched fist, open hand, and Kamehameha, along with three different Power Pole accessories, allowing fans to fully enjoy famous scenes from the manga!
