The "Toho Large Monsters" series, produced by Japan's PLEX Company and released by X-PLUS Company, has announced its latest product from the dream project "Godzilla vs. Evangelion": "Type-3 Kiryu (2002) Heavy Arms EVA Unit-01 Color"! The suggested retail price is 30,800 JPY, with an estimated release in February 2025.
The "Toho Large Monsters Type-3 Kiryu (2002) Heavy Arms EVA Unit-01 Color" utilizes the same prototype as the upcoming "Type-3 Kiryu (2002) Heavy Arms". Standing approximately 29 cm tall and extending to an impressive 36 cm in length, it meticulously sculpts the cool mechanical details across its entire body, equipped with complex heavy armaments such as the Type 0 Railgun and large rocket launchers on its backpack unit! The body is infused with EVA Unit-01's iconic purple and green color scheme, accented with red and yellow details, creating a striking Unit-01-inspired look!
The green on the dorsal fins and other areas features fluorescent paint, allowing for a glowing effect in the dark (when paired with a UV light); furthermore, with the included power unit, its eyes can be made to glow.
