Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong Sequel Announced, Unleashing King Ghidorah and Mothra

As Godzilla celebrates its 70th anniversary—an occasion marked by the return of the Oscar-winning Japanese monster film "Godzilla Minus One" to US theaters with 15 minutes of additional footage—the world of comics is getting in on the action. DC Comics has officially announced a sequel to its blockbuster crossover event, "Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong."

Following up on the original 2023 series, the "Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong" sequel will once again be a joint collaboration between DC Comics, Legendary Comics, and Toho International. The creative team from the first installment, writer Brian Buccellato and artist Christian Duce, are both set to return.

In a departure from the previous storyline, "Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong 2" will transport DC's heroes and villains directly into Legendary's MonsterVerse. Beyond the headliners Godzilla and Kong, the sequel is confirmed to feature other iconic Titans, including King Ghidorah, Rodan, and Mothra. Skull Island will also serve as one of the story's key locations.

On the DC Comics side, Suicide Squad member Killer Croc is reportedly set to be scaled up to giant size to take on the massive beasts of the MonsterVerse. Further details regarding other characters involved and the total number of issues for the series have not yet been disclosed.
