According to Deadline, "Birds of Prey" director Cathy Yan's new film, "The Gallerist," is eyeing the powerful duo to star.
The film reportedly centers on a desperate art gallerist who plots to sell a male corpse at Art Basel Miami.
Following her breakout success in the series "Wednesday," Ortega has delivered a string of impressive performances. In addition to this potential new project, Ortega is confirmed to join "Thor" franchise director Taika Waititi's adaptation of the sci-fi novel "Klara and the Sun," where she will co-star with Amy Adams.
Portman recently earned a Golden Globe nomination for her performance in "May December" and has just wrapped filming on "Fountain of Youth," a new project from Apple TV and Skydance Media.
