Japanese toy company Megahouse's "G.E.M." series, known for its high-quality figures that bring anime and manga characters to life, will release its latest product based on the popular anime "Dandadan": "Tenohira Momo". The suggested retail price is 8,800 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in April 2025.
The trending work "Dandadan," serialized on Shueisha's "Shonen Jump+," is set in a modern world full of occult and supernatural phenomena. It tells the story of gal high school student Momo Ayase, who doesn't believe in aliens but insists ghosts exist, and the male protagonist Ken Takakura, who firmly believes in aliens but doesn't think ghosts exist. To prove their own beliefs are correct, they each head to a spiritual hotspot to start a "ghost/alien hunting competition." As a result, Momo Ayase is almost abducted by aliens – the Serpoians – while Ken Takakura is cursed by the Turbo Granny... Thus begins their bizarre, youthful, and battle-filled supernatural life!
The "G.E.M. Tenohira Momo" PVC pre-painted complete figure transforms the cool Momo into a palm-sized figure, injecting meticulous sculpting details into its mere 9 cm size. It faithfully recreates her high school gal outfit, including her pink sweater, bow, choker, and large green earrings printed with alien faces. Her girlish sitting pose reveals her invincible youthful legs and emphasizes the presence of her loose socks! Her face maintains Momo's cool expression, truly delightful~
