TAITO Corporation (株式会社タイトー) of Japan's prize figure series, "Coreful Figure," will release its latest product based on the popular anime Frieren: Beyond Journey's End: "Aura the Guillotine." It will be sold as a prize figure, with an anticipated release in January 2025.
In Frieren: Beyond Journey's End, Aura, one of the Seven Sages of Destruction, is a great demon who has lived for over 500 years. She possesses the magical item "Scales of Obedience." By placing her own soul and the opponent's soul on the scales, the one with higher magical power can activate the Obedience Magic, forcing the other to obey until their body decays. To prevent those under her control from resisting with mental power, Aura beheads all her subordinates and forms them into her army, earning her the title "the Guillotine."
The "Coreful Figure Aura the Guillotine" prize figure stands approximately 18 cm tall. It is inspired by Aura's classic pose during her confrontation with Frieren, confidently holding out the Scales of Obedience with a triumphant smile. Her distinctive loose twin braids are sculpted using translucent parts for her hair. The scales in her hand and the accessories on her body are finished with metallic-textured paint, and her sinister gaze is captivating!
