FuRyu Corporation (フリュー株式会社), a Japanese company with diverse entertainment businesses, is releasing a new product in its affordable TENITOL figure series: the "Okarun (Transformation)" pre-painted figure, based on the popular anime "Dandadan." It has a suggested retail price of 6,985 JPY and is scheduled for release in August 2025!
The male protagonist, Ken Takakura, ventured alone into a famous haunted tunnel after a bet with Momo. Unexpectedly, he was cursed by the yokai "Turbo Granny" lurking within the tunnel, who stole his "balls." After successfully repelling Turbo Granny, he made a deal with her, allowing him to continuously use her abilities. Momo, displeased that Takakura shared a name with her favorite idol and because Takakura loves occult things, always refers to him as "Okarun."
This TENITOL Okarun (Transformation) pre-painted figure stands approximately 14 cm tall. It captures his dejected appearance after transforming, based on an original FuRyu pose, depicting a hunched-forward stance similar to his combat scenes in the series. The sculpting showcases the flowing wrinkles of his clothes, and transparent material is used for the glasses lenses. His iconic white and red hair and the costume's gradient coloring are faithfully reproduced. Although the figure does not include his in-series tooth mask, when paired with the rubble-strewn base, it still powerfully recreates his formidable presence from the show!
It can also be displayed alongside the "Momo Ayase" figure, released simultaneously!
