TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., has announced its latest product in the "Saint Cloth Myth EX" series: the "Ophiuchus Odysseus" action figure! The suggested retail price is 33,000 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in June 2025.
The thirteenth Gold Saint, Ophiuchus Odysseus, who appeared in "Saint Seiya: Next Dimension - The Myth of Hades," was the Sanctuary's physician, saving countless lives with his superb medical skills. He possesses "Golden Blood," which allows him to transfuse his blood to anyone, even bringing people back from the dead, earning him the title of the reincarnation of Asclepius, the God of Medicine; he is, in fact, Asclepius's physical reincarnation in the present world.
The "Saint Cloth Myth EX Ophiuchus Odysseus" action figure stands approximately 18 cm tall and features a new EX METAL body that incorporates alloy parts. The Gold Cloth is crafted to the highest current specifications, with electroplating treatment enhancing its unique dazzling golden luster. The tattered cape behind him also exudes a powerful presence. Odysseus's wild, snake-like flowing silver-white hair is faithfully recreated with vivid hair flow lines. His resurrected blood-red eyes and eyeshadow details are accurately depicted, and interchangeable face parts for a normal expression, looking left, and closed eyes are also included.
Accessories also include the luxurious Staff of Asclepius. Furthermore, the Cloth can be assembled to recreate its constellation form, presenting an impressive shape of a great serpent coiling around the Ophiuchus!
