World-renowned Hong Kong toy manufacturer HOT TOYS today (13th) announced its latest product from the 1992 DC superhero film "Batman Returns": the "Batmobile (Missile Version)" (Batmissile) 1/6th scale collectible vehicle! Expected to ship from Q4 2025 to Q1 2026, with a suggested retail price of HKD 3,900.
This missile-type Batmobile can be seen as an emergency escape mode for the Batmobile. Once activated, parts and armor of the Batmobile's body begin to detach. The wheel structure also reconfigures into an inline arrangement as the left and right body panels eject, transforming the entire vehicle into a missile, seemingly breaking through any encirclement. In "Batman Returns," Bruce activated this mode to escape pursuit by the GCPD, using it to squeeze into narrow passages within buildings. However, the pursuing police officers were helpless; one after another, police cars unable to brake in time crashed in front of the building's narrow gap.
This piece boasts an astonishing length of 109 cm. In addition to meticulously recreating its sleek vehicle form based on the film's design, it features a matte black paint finish. The interior of the cockpit, the significantly altered wheel arrangement, the jet turbine engine, and the thruster system, along with other vehicle details, are all fully reproduced. And what's more! This Batmissile also features LED light-up functions in the jet engine and dashboard. Coupled with a sliding cockpit canopy and retractable wheel devices, it is sure to provide an excellent play and display experience! Don't forget to collect it alongside the Batman figure!
