Japan's official "Mobile Suit Gundam" Gunpla flagship store, GUNDAM BASE, today announced detailed information for the latest product from "GUNDAM SCRAMBLE in FUKUOKA", the "HG 1/144 Sinanju Ver.GSF". It is scheduled for limited sale starting November 30, 2024, at THE GUNDAM BASE FUKUOKA store in Kyushu, Japan.
The Sinanju Ver.GSF appears in the 3D projection mapping show "GUNDAM SCRAMBLE in FUKUOKA," which is screened at Canal City Hakata, the shopping mall where THE GUNDAM BASE FUKUOKA is located. The visuals are projected onto the building walls and glass surfaces, equivalent to an approximately 2,500-inch screen, and combine water screens, water dances, and powerful sound effects. While enjoying the spectacular mobile suit battles, viewers can also use their smartphones to select in-show mobile suits to cheer them on and influence the outcome of the battle.
The Gundam Base Fukuoka 5th Anniversary commemorative product, the "HG 1/144 Sinanju Ver.GSF", is a modified version based on the previously released regular edition. The characteristic red armor from the original has been changed to the same blue as seen in "GUNDAM SCRAMBLE in FUKUOKA." However, the "Sleeves" black and gold emblems on various parts of the mobile suit are still reproduced using stickers. The weapon accessories are essentially the same as the original, including a "Beam Saber," two "Beam Axes" that can combine and transform, and a "Shield" that can mount a Beam Axe on its front. The difference is that this version includes two "Beam Rifles," allowing for the recreation of poses from the visuals.
