Following his 2022 semi-autobiographical film "The Fabelmans," acclaimed Hollywood director Steven Spielberg returns to the helm for his 2026 sci-fi feature, now officially titled "Disclosure Day." After Emily Blunt, known for "A Quiet Place" and "Oppenheimer," was previously confirmed to star, foreign media outlets have now announced that 34-year-old actor Josh O’Connor, who rose to prominence in the series "The Crown" and the film "Challengers," has officially joined the cast.
In addition to Emily Blunt and Josh O’Connor, the confirmed ensemble cast for "Disclosure Day" also includes Colman Domingo ("Ma Rainey's Black Bottom"), Academy Award winner Colin Firth ("The King's Speech"), and Eve Hewson ("Behind Her Eyes").
This highly anticipated sci-fi film is directed by Steven Spielberg, with the screenplay penned by his long-time collaborator David Koepp. Universal Pictures is handling the distribution.
The film was originally slated for a North American release on May 15, 2026.
