The DC "Arrowverse" spinoff series "Superman & Lois" is nearing its conclusion with its fourth and final season. Tom Cavanagh, known for his recurring roles in another DC series, "The Flash," is set to return to The CW for the final season of "Superman & Lois."
However, Cavanagh's return won't see him reprise his iconic roles as Eobard Thawne, also known as the Reverse-Flash, or any of the various Harrison Wells from across the multiverse. Instead, he will portray another well-known DC Comics villain who possesses the ability to control others through psychic powers: Glorious Godfrey.
In the comics, Glorious Godfrey is a member of Darkseid's villainous organization, "Darkseid's Elite." For "Superman & Lois" season four, Cavanagh's portrayal of the character in the eighth episode, "Sharp Dressed Man," features him in a heated television debate with Lois Lane and Lex Luthor.

Cavanagh's performance as Glorious Godfrey brings a humorous touch, a departure from his previous portrayals of Reverse-Flash or Harrison Wells. Todd Helbing, co-creator of "Superman & Lois," stated that Cavanagh was an excellent fit for the role, making his casting an easy decision.
Despite this new role, Cavanagh's appearance has reminded many fans of his past iconic characters within the "Arrowverse." Beyond the various Harrison Wells and the Flash's archenemy, Reverse-Flash, he also played the pivotal role of The Pariah in the final major crossover event, "Crisis on Infinite Earths."
Even though "The Flash" concluded a year ago, Tom Cavanagh previously told an international media outlet that "villain stories always have possibilities, especially for characters like Reverse-Flash." This statement continues to fuel fan anticipation for a potential Reverse-Flash spinoff in the future.
