Following Lucasfilm's announcement of a new "Star Wars" trilogy returning to the big screen, the official "Star Wars" channels have now confirmed a third season for the US-Japan collaborative animated anthology, "Star Wars: Visions." The announcement also revealed several animation studios involved in the production.
"Star Wars: Visions" Season 3 will also feature nine animated shorts. Japanese animation studios participating include David Production, known for the "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure" anime series; Production I.G, creators of the "Ghost in the Shell" franchise; Studio Trigger, behind hits like "KILL la KILL" and "Cyberpunk: Edgerunners;" Kinema Citrus, acclaimed for "Made in Abyss;" and Kamikaze Douga, recognized for "Batman Ninja."
The official release date for "Star Wars: Visions" Season 3 has not yet been announced.
