The alloy action figure "METAL HEAT" series, launched by Hong Kong toy brand POSE+, has once again announced its fourth product from "Getter Robo Armageddon," the "Getter Dragon (Getter Robo Armageddon Ver.)," slated for release in June-July 2025.
The new "METAL HEAT" series consists of pre-painted action figures made from composite materials such as plastic and alloy parts. Its three main features include: "Hybrid Anime Sculpt x Dedicated Accessories" – meticulously reproducing original designs and enhancing storytelling with accessories; "Extended Action Articulation" – specialized articulation design tailored to each machine's characteristics, seeking the optimal balance between sculpt, articulation, and playability; and "Team Up: All Assemble" – aiming to commercialize as many active machines from the series as possible.
The Getter Robo G released this time is the mass-produced Getter Robo created by Dr. Saotome in this work, possessing forms such as the aerial combat form "Getter Dragon." The Getter Army, composed of numerous Getter Robo G units, was originally Dr. Saotome's weapon against invaders. Following Dr. Saotome's feigned betrayal, countless Getter Robo G units successfully merged to become the ultimate weapon for humanity's salvation, "Shin Dragon," possessing the ability to infinitely produce "Metal Beast Dragon" within its body.
The "METAL HEAT Getter Dragon (Getter Robo Armageddon Ver.)" is produced at a height of approximately 22 cm. It faithfully reproduces the original design using various plastic materials and an alloy frame. Ingenious articulation mechanisms are incorporated throughout the body, allowing for an excellent range of motion in all joints without compromising the sculpt, enabling impressive poses such as crossed arms and dynamic combat stances.
Weapons include two "Getter Tomahawks" that can be connected to form a long handle, Getter Tomahawk slashing effects, and forehead Getter Beam firing effects. In addition to weapons, various accessories can recreate famous scenes from the series, such as dedicated parts to recreate being bisected by Getter-1, and dedicated parts to recreate the transformation and combination process. There's even a complete set of interchangeable armor parts to recreate the "Metal Beast Dragon" form produced by Shin Dragon!
