While details and development progress for the "Batman: Knightfall" animated trilogy remain unclear, sources indicate that Warner Bros. Animation has already eyed a director. Jeff Wamester, who previously helmed the "Crisis on Infinite Earths" animated film, is reportedly in talks to direct the first part of the "Batman: Knightfall" saga. However, this has not yet been officially confirmed by the studio.
Historically, Warner Bros. has released approximately two to four animated films annually.
