Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd.'s GASHAPON capsule toy division is releasing a new product based on "The Powerpuff Girls" theme—"The Powerpuff Girls Character Clip" capsule toys. The suggested retail price is 300 JPY per turn, and they are expected to launch in the second week of December 2024!
The animated series "The Powerpuff Girls," which aired on Cartoon Network, a subsidiary of Warner Bros., from 1998 to 2005, was adapted from the short film "Whoopass Stew!" drawn by creator Craig McCracken while studying at CalArts. The Powerpuff Girls, created with "sugar, spice, and everything nice" and the accidental addition of "Chemical X," are surely a childhood memory for many toy enthusiasts!
This time, "The Powerpuff Girls Character Clip" features the three protectors of Townsville—Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup—as approximately 5.3 cm stationery clips. It includes a total of six designs, with two poses (A and B) for each Powerpuff Girl. The two poses depict them in dynamic action when confronting villains and in a forward-flying stance. The clip's design allows it to stand directly on a desk, showcasing their cute charm while also holding important information like business cards and memos, becoming a great helper to safeguard toy enthusiasts' workplaces or daily lives!
