Following the internet sensation of the exaggerated, weapon-like "war hammer popcorn bucket" for the Japanese-American animated film "The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim," US theaters are once again pushing creative boundaries. Their latest ingenious popcorn bucket design targets the highly anticipated horror film "Nosferatu," set to hit screens this Christmas.
The new design features a macabre coffin motif, serving as the primary vessel for sweet or savory popcorn. However, much like the "Colosseum-shaped popcorn bucket" for "Gladiator II" that recently made waves, this unique item clearly lends itself to creative pairings with other toys and collectibles.
This "Nosferatu" coffin-shaped popcorn bucket will be available at Regal Cinemas across the United States. It's priced at $30.99 as part of a combo that includes a large popcorn, or can be purchased individually for $25.99. Other major cinema chains, including AMC and Cinemark, are also expected to roll out similar themed merchandise.
"Nosferatu" is slated for a North American release on December 25, 2024.
