Produced by Japan's PLEX company and distributed by X-PLUS company, the soft vinyl figure series themed on Toho tokusatsu works, 'Toho MANIACS', has announced the latest product 'Utsuno Ikusagami', from the 1994 film "Yamato Takeru", is scheduled for release in February 2025.

The tokusatsu film "Yamato Takeru", celebrating its 30th anniversary, is a "super-dimensional sci-fi adventure" based on Japanese mythology and infused with fantasy elements. The protagonist, Ousu, is a hero sent to the mortal world by the creator god Izanagi to defeat Tsukuyomi. Although Ousu, originally the second prince of the Yamato Kingdom, was abandoned due to slander, he survived by fate and grew into adulthood. During his journey, he successively acquired three divine artifacts: the Crystal Magatama, the Serpent-Slaying Sword, and the White Bird Mirror, enabling him to merge with "Ame no Shiratori", the messenger of Amaterasu Omikami, to become the giant divine warrior 'Utsuno Ikusagami', and engage in a decisive battle with Tsukuyomi, who has transformed into the "Yamata no Orochi".
'Toho MANIACS Utsuno Ikusagami' transforms the divine warrior, into which the protagonist transforms, into a soft vinyl figure approximately 17 cm tall. Based on the film's costume, it faithfully reproduces details such as the full silver-white armor, golden wings on the back, the elegant sun motif on the forehead, and intricate textual engravings on various parts. The rich metallic paint application further enhances its substantial texture.
