The popular action figure series "figma", released by Japanese model maker Max Factory, has announced its latest product, the "Special Forces Member", a collaboration with the 1/12 scale firearm model series "Little Armory", scheduled for release in July 2025.
The character "Special Forces Member", released this time, is themed after the U.S. Army Special Forces "Green Berets". Having undergone a rigorous selection process and composed of experts from various fields, they are one of the most elite soldiers in the world. Their primary missions include building partnerships with other nations and conducting unconventional warfare. They are also proficient in foreign internal defense, counter-terrorism, special reconnaissance, and other missions, having gained renown for their involvement in the Korean War, Vietnam War, and Persian Gulf War.
The "figma Special Forces Member" utilizes over 200 transfer printing processes to thoroughly reproduce the universal camouflage pattern favored by special forces worldwide on its equipment. Its robust and handsome physique is both powerful and stylish, featuring a two-stage articulation mechanism for the neck and shoulders, independent knee pad parts, and a double-jointed structure, allowing it to accommodate various national weapon models and strike standard, professional combat poses.
The head can be equipped with a helmet-mounted night vision device by swapping parts, and includes a "Special Forces Pistol Mk27 Type" that can be stored in a holster, and a "14.5-inch Special Forces Carbine URGI Type." The carbine includes two interchangeable specifications: "pre-assembled parts" for immediate use, and a "model kit" that emphasizes detailed sculpting.
