Comedy titans Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence, who famously co-starred in films like "Life" and "Boomerang," have long shared a close friendship. However, their relationship recently took a new turn late last month when their children, Eric Murphy (pictured left, Eddie's son) and Jasmin Lawrence (pictured right, Martin's daughter), officially announced their engagement.
Jasmin and Eric recently shared a video of the proposal on Instagram, publicly announcing their engagement. The celebrity offspring couple first went public with their relationship in 2021, and after three years of dating, they are now embarking on a new chapter. Martin, as a proud father, seemed to have long approved of their romance. Two years ago on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!", he jokingly declared that he would make Eddie pay for the wedding. He also mentioned that friends and family were already wondering if the children born from the union of these two comedy giants would inherit their incredible comedic talent.
