BANDAI CANDY, the confectionery toy division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., has announced the latest product from its Q-version articulated figure series 『Chara Mobi』, the 「Mecha-gurumi Suletta [Gundam Calibarn]」 from Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury, slated for release in May 2025.
『Charamobi』 is a series of pre-painted articulated figures. The current lineup of Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury products is based on the "Mecha-gurumi" (Mecha Plushie Suit) illustration series by Japanese manga artist Yoshitsune Iizuna. These illustrations depict the characters from the series in a cartoon style, wearing plushie suits designed after their respective Mobile Suits and mechanical forms. The figures feature abundant articulation, multiple interchangeable face plates, and accessories, allowing for a variety of adorable poses.
The 「Chara Mobi Mecha-gurumi Suletta [Gundam Calibarn]」 figure, standing at 9 cm tall, brings to life Suletta in her Gundam Calibarn plushie suit. It faithfully recreates Yoshitsune Iizuna's adorable art style and mechanical details. Featuring 14 points of articulation in the neck, waist, limbs, and other areas, it also includes four different interchangeable face plates. Her signature weapon, the "Variable Rod Rifle," can replicate its four rear thrusters deployed state through interchangeable parts.
