Kenelephant "RICOH Camera Miniature Collection" Boxed Toy / Gashapon, Four Classic RICOH Film Cameras Transformed into Miniature Models!

Japanese toy company Kenelephant (ケンエレファント) has partnered with the renowned Japanese camera brand RICOH to launch the "RICOH Camera Miniature Collection," which will be released simultaneously in both boxed toy and gashapon formats. The suggested retail prices are 550 JPY per box and 500 JPY per gashapon, with an anticipated release in January 2025!

Ricoh (株式会社リコー), founded in 1936, initially started with its self-developed photosensitive paper. Over time, its business expanded into numerous fields including cameras, camcorders, projectors, and platemaking, producing a wide range of products from affordable to high-end, catering to various needs. Toy enthusiasts who enjoy photography are surely no strangers to RICOH!

This time, Kenelephant has created miniature models, approximately 3.4 to 4.6 cm in size, of four classic film cameras previously produced by RICOH. The collection includes the Ricohflex III twin-lens reflex camera released in 1950, the Ricoh Auto Half half-frame camera released in 1960, and the Ricoh GR1 portable camera released in 1996, available in both black and white. The top cover of the Ricohflex III can be opened to attach a lens hood, while both the Auto Half and GR1 can have their back covers opened to install the included film accessories. These clever details recreate the joy of film cameras, so all RICOH fans definitely shouldn't miss out!
