Following the release of "Shima Rin with Scooter," Japanese company ALTER (Alter Co., Ltd.), known for its high-quality, exquisite bishoujo figures, has once again announced its latest product based on "Laid-Back Camp Δ": the "Shima Rin with Three-Wheeled Motorcycle" 1/10 scale figure. It is priced at 33,000 JPY (tax included) and is scheduled for release in November 2025.
The protagonist of the "Laid-Back Camp Δ" series, Shima Rin, developed an interest in camping due to her grandfather's influence. She began solo camping in junior high, possessing extensive camping knowledge. She enjoys riding her motorcycle to undisturbed, tranquil scenic spots during the off-season to savor quiet solo camping moments. After getting to know Nadeshiko and others, the originally taciturn Rin joined the school's "Outdoor Activities Club," embarking on outdoor adventures with a group of high school girls, enjoying camping knowledge, outdoor cooking, and more.
The ALTER "Shima Rin with Three-Wheeled Motorcycle" 1/10 scale figure makes its reappearance in the design from the special episode "SPECIAL EPISODE Sauna, Meals, and Three-Wheeled Motorcycle"! It faithfully recreates the main visual illustration, featuring Shima riding a three-wheeled motorcycle whose prototype is the YAMAHA Trinity 125. Her warm smile and the soft texture of her cheeks make the overall look both cool and cute~ The three-wheeled motorcycle is supervised by Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd., authentically reproducing the unique shape and details of the two-front-wheel type. Details such as the headlights, dashboard, rearview mirrors, and wiring are meticulously sculpted, and the glossy finish of the fairing and metallic parts of the mechanical structure are delicately painted. Transparent parts are used for the headlights and windshield, creating a realistic difference in texture.
The details and shadow painting of her clothing create a three-dimensional effect. Even details not visible in the illustration, such as her helmet and boots, are thoroughly reproduced! Furthermore, the helmet is detachable, and the three-wheeled motorcycle can also be displayed as a standalone piece.
