GOOD SMILE COMPANY's MECHA SMILE brand, specializing in mechanical-themed finished combination toys under 'THE GATTAI' series, today announced the latest product from 'The Brave Express Might Gaine', 'Black Might Gaine', scheduled for release in September 2025.
Black Might Gaine is a unit built by Asian mafia boss Ho Kwang-lu to defeat Might Gaine, by replicating its 'G-System'. Centered around 'Black Gaine', which also features a super AI, it combines with 'Black Gaine Wing', 'Black Gaine Locomotive', and 'Black Command Car' to form Black Might Gaine. While its appearance is similar to the original, it features numerous menacing design details and can perform the same 'Dark Wheel Sword' and 'Dark Red & Blue Signal Wave' attacks as Might Gaine.
'THE GATTAI Black Might Gaine' inherits and modifies the transformation and combination mechanism from the previously released 'THE GATTAI Might Gaine'. It utilizes new parts and colors to recreate the jet-black, evil appearance of the four units: Black Gaine, Black Gaine Wing, Black Gaine Locomotive, and Black Command Car.
All four units can be displayed individually. The Black Gaine main unit can transform into both vehicle and robot modes. Despite its small size, it features multiple points of articulation and can be posed with the two included swords and the separately sold Gaine to recreate scenes of the two training together. After each unit transforms and combines, they form 'Black Might Gaine', standing approximately 26 cm tall.
Once 'Black Might Gaine' is formed, its various joints also boast excellent articulation, allowing for dynamic battle poses with multiple interchangeable hand parts and weapons like the 'Dark Wheel Sword' and 'Dark Gaine Shotgun'. Additionally, the product includes a set of special parts to transform Black Gaine and Black Might Gaine into their good forms.
This product can also combine with the separately sold 'Great Might Kaiser' and 'Might Gunner' to form 'Dark Great Might Gaine (equivalent to Perfect Mode)'. A special crown part for the legendary combination is included and can be equipped on the head of Black Might Gaine in both its good and evil forms.
