In a recent interview with an entertainment outlet, DC Studios CEO James Gunn discussed his expectations for the "Superman" reboot and the already-completed second season of "Peacemaker." Gunn not only assured fans of the exceptional quality of both "Superman" and "Peacemaker" but also praised David Corenswet's performance as Superman/Clark Kent.
"'Superman' is going to be a pretty massive movie. It's completely different from the 'Creature Commandos' animated series currently airing, but it's still an outstanding piece of work," Gunn stated. "I have to say, from the bottom of my heart, David Corenswet's performance will undoubtedly amaze everyone. He is unquestionably one of the best actors I've ever worked with; he can achieve perfection, he's truly incredible."
"As for 'Peacemaker' Season 2, it will also bring surprises. We chose a different story direction from the first season, and it will be a very wonderful and astonishing story for audiences. Frank Grillo will also be a crucial part of this narrative, as his character, Rick Flag Sr., also hails from 'Creature Commandos' and appears in the 'Superman' film."

"Our rule is this: if something is mentioned in a new DCU film or series as having happened in the past, then it counts as having happened. That's how we handle the storyline."
