To celebrate the upcoming 30th anniversary of the Godzilla series film "Godzilla vs. Destoroyah," Bandai's popular toy "Crocodile Dentist (Itai Wani)" is specially releasing a commemorative product, the "Chomp! Burning Godzilla" board game toy, with a suggested retail price of 2,090 JPY, and is scheduled for release in March 2025!
First appearing in the 1995 film "Godzilla vs. Destoroyah," the culmination of the Heisei Godzilla series, "Burning Godzilla" resulted from tectonic shifts causing the dissolution of high-purity uranium deposits on Birth Island, Godzilla's habitat. After absorbing excessive radioactive material, Godzilla's internal nuclear energy rapidly fissioned, and the cooling mechanism within his G-cells lost control, leading to an unstable state where a nuclear meltdown could occur at any moment. Beneath his dark skin, his body glowed with an intensely hot, burning red light.
The "Chomp! Burning Godzilla" measures approximately 18.5 cm in length. It incorporates the Burning Godzilla design into the Crocodile Dentist concept, recreating Godzilla's fierce head and fiery red eyes. The Burning state of his body and skin texture are also charmingly reproduced~ With his vivid red mouth open, press a sharp tooth... and enjoy the thrilling tension of being "bitten" by Godzilla!
