Developed by Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya, the highly customizable model kit series "HEXA GEAR" has announced the release of its new product, "Veloce," slated for May 2025.
Veloce is the first model created by the new designer for the "HEXA GEAR" series, LAS91214, featuring a distinct design style compared to previous models. Veloce primarily operates in its robot form but can also transform into a high-speed land vehicle form and an aerial combat form to counter airborne threats. Its intricately detailed frame not only boasts excellent articulation but also allows for easy removal of its outer armor, enabling customization with the common standard connection points of the "HEXA GEAR" series.
When completed, the "HEXA GEAR Veloce" kit stands approximately 21 cm tall. Its complex, multi-faceted black outer armor and gray frame are combined with metallic parts that reveal internal structures, while the rear taillights feature separate transparent orange and transparent red colors, resulting in an overall striking appearance. The robot form inherently possesses flexible articulated joints, and the requirements of its transformation mechanism contribute to a remarkable 106 points of articulation throughout the body.
After transforming into its vehicle or flight forms, dedicated locking parts can be used to maintain structural integrity. The cockpit features an opening and closing mechanism and can accommodate separately sold standard-sized "Governor" figures. While only two rifles are included as weaponry, the entire body armor is equipped with numerous hexagonal expansion ports, allowing for free customization of the model and expansion of its armaments using the included 3mm adapter parts and components from the "HEXA GEAR," "M.S.G," and other series!
