Japanese figure company BellFine (株式会社ベルファイン) has announced a new product based on the popular anime and manga series "FAIRY TAIL" – the "Lucy Heartfilia Winking Ver." 1/8 scale pre-painted figure. It is priced at 19,580 JPY and is scheduled for release in April 2025!
"FAIRY TAIL" is a manga series created by Hiro Mashima, which was adapted into a TV anime in 2009. It tells the story of Earth Land, a world filled with magic, where numerous organizations called wizard guilds offer jobs to mages. The protagonist, Lucy Heartfilia, a Celestial Spirit Mage, joins the Fairy Tail guild after encountering Natsu Dragneel, a Dragon Slayer Mage, embarking on a series of exciting adventures.
This "Lucy Heartfilia Winking Ver." 1/8 scale pre-painted figure stands approximately 23 cm tall. It is a revamped version based on the "Lucy Heartfilia" figure released in 2021, depicting Lucy in a joyful, leaping pose alongside Happy, dressed in a blue top and white skirt. The figure delicately captures Lucy's voluptuous yet slender physique, with sculpted details of her clothing accessories and wrinkles. The most significant changes this time are in the facial expressions of Lucy and Happy; Lucy now features a winking expression, and both characters' face paint is more refined than the previous version, more accurately capturing their charm from the series!
