This "Creature Encyclopedia Ultimate Dead Leaf Mantis & Chinese Slant-faced Grasshopper Display Stand Set" includes four distinct types: the Dead Leaf Mantis (Green), Dead Leaf Mantis (Brown), Chinese Slant-faced Grasshopper (Green), and Chinese Slant-faced Grasshopper (Brown).
The Dead Leaf Mantis is crafted at double the actual size, measuring approximately 160 mm in length, and features an impressive 34 points of articulation. JMC Co., Ltd. meticulously recreated the specimen's form using X-ray CT scanning, while Hiroaki Tanaka handled the magnificent paintwork, carefully reproducing every hyper-realistic detail! The transparent compound eyes and delicate hindwings are exquisitely rendered, and intricate details such as the spines on its raptorial forelegs and the abdominal segments typically hidden beneath its wings are vividly brought to life.
The Chinese Slant-faced Grasshopper measures approximately 140 mm and boasts 21 points of articulation. The display stand set includes hindwings, allowing for dynamic poses, whether in flight or in an intimidating stance!
