Among the products from the Danish LEGO toy company, the "Minifigures (LEGO Minifigures)" series is arguably the most accessible for collectors. Following the previous ">Space Special Series, LEGO will release the numbered 71048 "LEGO Minifigures Series 27" on January 1, 2025, with a suggested retail price of US$4.99 per blind bag!
The biggest highlight of this LEGO Minifigures Series 27, in my personal opinion, is definitely "Cupid," holding a bow and a vibrant red heart, and featuring adorable heart-shaped eyes! Paired with the transparent stand pieces often included in current Super Heroes sets, it feels like you could take many incredibly interesting photos. Other fantastic characters include the "Pterodactyl Costume Fan" from the dinosaur costume series, the "Steampunk Inventor" with eye-catching hat and costume printing, and the "Cat Lover" wearing a super cute ugly sweater. I'm also personally very excited about the "Wolfpack Beastmaster" with its tough-looking design – I really want to collect multiples!
In addition to the newly introduced adorable characters, this series continues the excellent hallmark of the Minifigures series: spectacular and unique accessories! These include the female pirate's cockatoo, the Bogeyman's giant storybook, the Longboarder's green-wheeled longboard, and the Plush Toy Collector's two dolls, one green and one blue.
