American toy brand NECA has unveiled a new product on its official website based on the American comic "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin" – the "Ghost Brothers" 7-inch action figure 3-pack. The suggested retail price is US$99.99, with an estimated release in May-June 2025!
"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin" is a Ninja Turtles comic series published from 2020 to 2022. The story, spearheaded by co-creator Kevin Eastman, one of the "Turtle Dads," depicts a near-future where evil forces rise, New York City's security deteriorates, and the Ninja Turtles and their allies fall one by one in successive battles. Years later, the sole surviving Turtle embarks on a solitary mission to avenge his fallen father and brothers, and to seek long-overdue justice for New York City.
This "Ghost Brothers" 3-pack brings to life Leonardo, Raphael, and Donatello – the three brothers seen by the Last Ronin in his hallucinations within the comic. The figures utilize translucent colored material combined with paint applications to faithfully recreate their ghostly appearances. Intricate details such as their shells and belt armor are meticulously reproduced, and black line work is used to capture the comic's distinctive art style. For accessories, each brother comes with their signature weapon – a katana, sai, and bo staff, respectively – along with three sets of interchangeable hands. These can be paired with the previously released "The Last Ronin" figure to recreate iconic scenes from the comic!
