American toy manufacturer MEZCO TOYZ's highly popular 1/12 scale action figure series "One:12 Collective" recently announced a new Marvel Comics-themed product—the "The Mighty Thor" 1/12 scale action figure. It has a suggested retail price of US$95 and is expected to be released in July 2025!
The Mighty Thor was co-created by Marvel's father Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby, first appearing in Journey into Mystery #83, published in August 1962. Based on the Norse god of thunder, Thor is one of the most powerful Avengers!
This 1/12 scale The Mighty Thor action figure stands approximately 17 cm tall, crafted in Thor's classic comic book appearance. The sculpting faithfully recreates his exaggerated arm musculature, and the vintage battle suit is rendered using a composite of leather and fabric materials. The fabric cape features embedded wires, allowing for dynamic posing as desired! Accessories include two interchangeable head sculpts, four sets of interchangeable hands, his iconic weapon Mjolnir, and multiple effect parts such as a spinning Mjolnir and lightning strike effects, which can be combined for display to recreate Thor's mighty presence!
