Deadpool and Kidpool Reunite for Charity, Forcing Original Wonder Woman Into Ryan Reynolds' Infamous Ugly Sweater

Ryan Reynolds, who often suits up as Deadpool for charity campaigns, has dropped another promotional video today to raise funds for a children's hospital in his native Canada. His daughter, Inez Reynolds, who made a cameo as "Kidpool" in this year's "Deadpool & Wolverine," joins her dad on screen once again.

With the Christmas season in full swing, the short film's plot is fittingly festive. The father-daughter Deadpool duo hijacks Santa's sleigh to help deliver presents. Their final stop of the night is a call to encourage people to donate to save sick children. At first, Deadpool jokes about taking sick kids off the "nice list" and skipping their gifts, before clarifying that he actually wants to "exclude" their illnesses through fundraising.

But Deadpool admits that as an R-rated superhero, he isn't the right spokesperson for such a campaign and decides to call in the original TV series "Wonder Woman," Lynda Carter, for help. Once Carter appears, Deadpool excitedly asks her to perform her classic transformation spin.

However, in a hilarious twist, DC's lawyers wouldn't authorize the use of the Wonder Woman costume in the video. This leads to Carter transforming not into the Amazonian warrior, but into Ryan Reynolds' infamous ugly Christmas sweater—the very one that became a viral meme after he was pranked by Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal years ago. A disappointed Deadpool curses, ranting that the lawyer must be the same one who "messed with Henry Cavill and the other Batman actors."
