Jack Quaid Becomes a Painless Hero: First Trailer Drops for Action-Comedy "Novocaine"

Jack Quaid, who rose to prominence starring in Amazon's superhero series "The Boys," is set to transform into a superhero who "can't feel pain" in the upcoming action-comedy "Novocaine." The film follows Quaid's character, Nate, an ordinary man who, after witnessing his dream girl's abduction, decides to harness his inability to feel pain into an unexpected superpower. He then goes to extraordinary lengths to track down the bank robbers who kidnapped her and bring her home.

"Novocaine" is directed by Dan Berk and Robert Olsen, the filmmaking duo behind "Villains." The ensemble cast also includes Amber Midthunder from "Prey," Ray Nicholson (son of Jack Nicholson), and Jacob Batalon, known for his role as Ned in the MCU's "Spider-Man" series. The film is slated for release on March 14, 2025.
