Chu recounted his conversation with Lucas during a recent appearance on a CBS morning show. He recalled that Lucas called him immediately after watching the film, still at the shopping center where he had just seen it. "He was still at the mall where he just saw the movie, and he was so nice," Chu shared. "He called me and said, 'I watched all the elements in the movie, and I know how hard that is to put together.' It's an amazing thing when you have a creative leader of that stature reach out to you." The "Wicked" journey is far from over, with its second installment, "Wicked: For Good," slated to hit theaters next year on November 21st, just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday.
