Just days after announcing an initial slate of upcoming films, Warner Bros. Pictures has quickly added a second wave of titles to its release calendar. First up from DC Studios, the "Batman" spinoff film "Clayface," which was just confirmed to be in development, is now slated for a September 11, 2026 release. The movie will be directed by Mike Flanagan ("Doctor Sleep") and produced by "The Batman" director Matt Reeves.
The Hollywood Reporter notes that "Clayface" has a modest budget of around $40 million. While the character is a villain in some of the source comics, the film will reportedly not portray him as such, instead leaning into a tragic horror story. THR also mentioned that Flanagan is a particular fan of Clayface's appearance in "Batman: The Animated Series," suggesting the film may draw inspiration from that episode's storyline.

Another "Batman" spinoff to secure a release date is "Dynamic Duo," which centers on the first Robin, Dick Grayson, and the second Robin, Jason Todd. The project, first revealed in October, is now scheduled to hit theaters on June 30, 2028. The film will reportedly blend CGI, stop-motion animation, and live-action to tell the origin stories of Dick and Jason, exploring how their friendship is severely tested by their differing ideologies.
Outside of the DC universe, a new film adaptation of "Wuthering Heights" has been scheduled for a Valentine's Day weekend release on February 13, 2026. Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi were announced in September as the film's leads, set to star as Catherine Earnshaw and her great love, Heathcliff. The project will be written and directed by Emerald Fennell, the filmmaker behind "Promising Young Woman."
