Providing support behind the African front lines, the Principality of Zeon's locally modified machine, "SAND SHEEP", equipped with optional parts that can reproduce various variations, now appears in the ver. A.N.I.M.E. series!
The MS-06V Zaku Tank is a ground combat mobile suit, and one of the many variants of the standard MS-06 Zaku II. It first appeared in the Mobile Suit MSV series and later in anime series including 'Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam', 'Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ', and 'Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team'.
As the One Year War dragged on, the Zeon forces found an urgent need for various mobile suits and other weapons. Field hangars would salvage everything they could, often dismantling unusable machines for replacement parts, and piecing together new units from whatever was available to bring more mobile suits to the battlefield. One of the most common variants was the Zaku Tank! It was created by mounting a Zaku torso, head, and arms onto the chassis of a Magella Attack Tank. These units were valued by field commanders, eager to replace mobile suits, and used for both combat and support missions. Since Zaku Tanks were built to meet local military needs, there was no single, unified design, and various chassis and equipment existed. The most common chassis used the upper torso of the MS-06 Zaku II series, but the torso of the MS-05 Zaku I series was also used.
During the One Year War, the Zeon armed forces deployed localized versions of the Zaku Tank across Earth. In the events of 'Gundam 08th MS Team OVA', EFF prisoners utilized an MS-05-based Zaku Tank to escape from the Zeon forces and destroyed an armored vehicle.
After the One Year War, many captured Zaku Tanks were sent to Federation bases around the world, including Jaburo Headquarters in South America...

As a huge fan of Mobile Suits, especially MSV, this faithful-to-the-original 'Desert Sheep' has finally been released, and I can't find a single reason not to get it!
The most fun part about this unit is its customization! That's right! It has more backpacks than the Impulse Gundam, four of them! Although most are simple parts... when you play with it, the feeling from 40 years ago completely returns! As a dedicated fan, you absolutely cannot miss out on this unit. If you have time to weather it or apply decals, achieving the 100% cover effect is not impossible!
Simply put! I absolutely love it!
