Event Exclusive Item RG RX-93ff NU GUNDAM Fukuoka Nu

During the summer of 2024, I took a trip to Kyushu.

I had the opportunity to visit Fukuoka Lalaport.

The Nu Gundam in front of the plaza was truly breathtaking.

Inspired by the experience, I acquired the limited-edition item, the RG-93ff NU GUNDAM, also known as the Fukuoka Nu.

During the assembly process, while marveling at the exquisite craftsmanship of the RG line,

I also made sure to enhance the model's details, primarily by adding panel lines and sculpting step differences.

Below are the modification details for each section:

【Head】

【Chest】

I custom-made small parts for the chest using plastic sheets.

【Arms】

I wasn't particularly fond of the new version's split armor design for the shoulder armor, feeling it was a bit redundant.

Therefore, I reverted to the original Nu's shoulder armor.

【Waist】

The skirt armor has a larger surface area, making it easier to apply panel lines compared to the arms.

The results also look quite good.

【Legs】

This section has the most parts, making it the most challenging for adding details.

I often work on each part as ideas come to me.

The drawback of this approach is a lack of consistency when all parts are assembled.

Ideally, one should sketch out all panel lines for the entire leg before proceeding with the actual scribing.

【Overall and Details】

The RX-93 ff, also known as the Fukuoka Nu, boasts rich colors and markings.

The overall impression is one of lightness.

The rear skirt armor is also quite appealing.

The legs originally had the largest blank areas.

Panel lines and alternating gray-white colors create a sense of mechanical armor.

Adding panel lines appropriately enhances the level of refinement.

【Armaments - Traditional Shield and Beam Rifle】

【Armaments - Long-Range Fin Funnels】

【Fully Armed】

【Action Poses】

While at Lalaport, I had a moment of weakness and also purchased the dedicated display stand.

Might as well put it to good use!
