The immensely popular die-cast car toy series "TOMICA Mini Car", launched by Japanese toy company TAKARA TOMY, has announced the first wave of its collaboration with Akira Toriyama's hugely popular manga "Dragon Ball", featuring "Son Goku's Flying Nimbus" and "Bulma's Capsule No. 9 Motorcycle", slated for release in Spring 2025.
This collaboration is a product planning initiative launched to commemorate the 40th anniversary of "Dragon Ball". Starting from the origin of "Dragon Ball" and Goku's childhood, it aims to bring various "vehicles" from the series to life using TOMICA's long-cultivated technology.
"TOMICA Son Goku's Flying Nimbus" transforms the image of young Goku riding the Flying Nimbus into a compact and adorable TOMICA mini car. It includes a transparent display stand to depict an airborne scene.
"TOMICA Bulma's Capsule No. 9 Motorcycle", at a miniature size of approximately 6 cm in length, meticulously reproduces the original's detailed styling, featuring tire treads, a transparent windshield, printed text on the body, silver paintwork, and movable handlebars.
In addition to these two products, TAKARA TOMY also plans to release other captivating vehicles from "Dragon Ball" in the future, such as "Frieza's Small Pod", "Red Ribbon Army's Small Fighter Jet", "Ox-King's Car", and "Master Roshi's Van"!
