Bringing back legacy actors to reprise their iconic roles is a prominent trend in today's superhero cinema, a practice Marvel Studios has embraced with particular enthusiasm. Renowned entertainment journalist Daniel Richtman recently reported on his personal Patreon page that, according to his reliable sources, he is "very confident" Nicolas Cage will participate in a future Marvel project, once again portraying Johnny Blaze, the Ghost Rider.

Richtman's report conveyed a strong sense of certainty, as he vouched for the information, stating: "If you remember, I was the first to report that Wesley Snipes would reprise his role as Blade in 'Deadpool & Wolverine.' Now, I can confirm that Nic Cage will reprise his role as Johnny Blaze/Ghost Rider in an upcoming project. I don't know which one just yet, but there aren't many options left."

Following this news, fans widely speculate that Cage's potential appearance would be in "Avengers: Secret Wars," a film expected to feature multiverse elements, making it a prime candidate for integrating returning legacy characters. This isn't the first time Cage has been considered for an MCU role; previously, Ryan Reynolds admitted he had hoped to invite Cage for a cameo in "Deadpool & Wolverine," though that plan ultimately didn't materialize.
