Netflix's "Beef," which is transitioning into an anthology series, will feature a new cast and story each season, starting with its second installment. Foreign media outlet Deadline exclusively reported today that Cannes Best Actor winner Song Kang-ho is also confirmed to join "Beef" Season 2 as a guest star for a single episode. Even before his addition, Youn Yuh-jung, who won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for "Minari," was already confirmed to be part of the cast.

Season 2 will consist of eight episodes, each approximately thirty minutes long. The plot follows a young couple who witness a shocking argument between a wealthy Korean boss and his wife, triggering a series of chaotic events within the boss's affluent world. Korean-American show creator Lee Sung Jin, who spearheaded the first season's story, remains the showrunner and executive producer for Season 2.
